The BPS1 Manual Power Supply features a 3-position manual control switch for on-off-release, an indicator light, a 6’ input cord with plug, a 3’ output cord, and a splash-resistant enclosure.
All electromagnets require a power supply in order to operate correctly. Electromagnets must be able to release ferrous objects as readily as they attract and hold them. The ability to release comes from the power supply rendering a reverse current that ensures positive release of even those alloy steels that retain induced magnetism extremely well. All Bunting® Power Supplies are designed to provide D.C. power for industrial electromagnets. [new paragraph] Note: Total wattage of all magnets powered by a single Bunting Power Supply must not exceed the wattage rating of the Power Supply. For example; you can use five 3-watt magnets with a 15-watt Power Supply.
