Magnetic head pulleys are a convenient and reliable solution to separate ferrous metal from non-ferrous material within your product stream. Also known as pulley separators or magnetic conveyor pulleys, they are easy to install and require minimal maintenance and cleaning. Used at the discharge end on belt conveyors, magnetic head pulleys provide maximum continuous protection against ferrous tramp metal in the processing of materials including recycled products, chemicals, food, grain, plastics, coal, and more.
These magnetic head pulleys feature stainless steel shell construction and come standard with ceramic magnets. Rare earth magnets are also available upon request. Pulleys are available in diameters of 6″, 8″, 10”, and 12″. Widths range from 14” to 38”. XT Hubs and bushings are standard.
