Ceramic plate magnets are a simple and effective magnetic separation solution. They can easily be installed in enclosed flow lines to remove large pieces of tramp iron, ferrous fines, and other types of ferrous metal contamination from many different types of free-flowing and pneumatically conveyed material. Ceramic plate magnets are able to tolerate temperatures of up to 480 °F and are a highly economical equipment option.
Plate magnets are great for handling powdery, lumpy, moist, and abrasive material as well as large debris that could otherwise choke, bridge, or cause rapid wear to cartridge-style magnetic separators. Plate magnets offer multiple installation options and can also be installed above conveyors.

Easy to install in your granulator’s feed tray, just cut an opening in the feed tray and bolt the pre-drilled flange of the magnet to the tray using the holes and hardware provided. Our grinder plate magnets are manufactured with a rugged cast aluminum frame, and the back plate and magnetic pole face are made of mild steel.
