Plate Magnets

Bunting® Plate Magnets install easily in enclosed flow lines to remove ferrous fines, as well as large pieces of tramp iron, from many types of free-flowing and pneumatically conveyed material. They can handle powdery, moist, lumpy, and abrasive products and large debris that might choke, bridge, or cause rapid wear in cartridge-based separators. Plate Magnets can also be installed above conveyors or below conveyor drive pulleys to capture contaminants as material drops from open belts.

    Ceramic plate magnets are a simple and effective magnetic separation solution. Ceramic plate magnets are able to tolerate temperatures of up to 480 °F and are a highly economical equipment option.

     

    Plate magnets are great for handling powdery, lumpy, moist, and abrasive material as well as large debris that could otherwise choke, bridge, or cause rapid wear to cartridge-style magnetic separators. Plate magnets offer multiple installation options and can also be installed above conveyors.
