These magnets provide strong pull despite their small sizes, and come with convenient pre-drilled holes for mounting. They are designed with the magnet either embedded in a steel channel or the magnet sandwiched between two steel plates. Best results are achieved when the magnet is applied to a flat, smooth surface. In critical applications, it is recommended to install a safety factor of two or three.
