Round flat-faced electromagnets are available in thirteen standard options from BuyMagnets.com. Diameter options range from 0.50” to 6.” Height options range from 0.75” to 3.” The holding force of these electromagnets ranges from 4lbs to 1000lbs. If you have a special request, we also have the ability to supply you with special custom sizes.
For best results, it is recommended to use round flat-faced electromagnets on surfaces that are smooth, flat, and dry. A round flat-faced magnet is able to achieve its maximum holding force when the entire face of the magnet is permitted to come into direct contact with the product being handled. Round flat-faced electromagnets are designed with a center magnetic pole, and use their outer casing as an opposite pole. This design is able to concentrate magnetic force at the center of the magnet, and the result is superior holding power.
